Last night was a fun night of fellowship and fond memories at Casa Teresa -Orange, CA.
2 small groups from Saddleback Valley Community Church came to wrap gifts and make dinner for the mommies and babies of Casa Teresa. It was rewarding to hold their little bundles of joy while they ate dinner! BURP donated the 18 burp cloths that were made the previous week at the "You can crea8 night" at Saddleback. We will be setting a date to sew more burp cloths for Casa Teresa in the new year - stay tuned!
Thank you to everyone who came last night and to Michelle for letting us enjoy the mommies and babies of Casa Teresa!
Blessings,
Erin

We were asked by O.C Parenting to be in their Orange County Baby Fair at the Women's Hospital at Saddleback Memorial. We brought all our goodies and had a fabulous time seeing all the cute pregnant mommies!
We had the privilege of taking our BURP gives back to Saddleback Valley Community Church in Lake Forest, CA last night and teach women how to sew burp cloths. This was a "you can creat8 together night" for women who wanted to enjoy a girls night out! BURP turned this night into a "make and dontate" evening where the ladies sewed burp cloths that we will be donating to Casa Teresa in Orange, CA. This was such a fabulous experience - those who couldn't sew ironed and folded - we all bonded and enjoyed each others company!
For more info on how you can get involved with our BURP ministry please email erin@babyurprecious.com and we will email you our calendar of volunteer dates!
We flew to Phoenix, Arizona to meet these fabulous moms at the Neighborhood Center. We brought supplies and taught them how to sew burp cloths. They enjoyed sewing and having fellowship together and hopefully will continue "burp cloth parties" with their community.
Thank you ladies for your dedication and laughter - we had so much fun getting to know each of you!
The burp cloths they lovingly made will be given to the pregnant single mothers of Casa Teresa in Orange, CA.

Casa Teresa

We went to visit Casa Teresa - which is a home for single mothers. Casa Teresa was founded in 1976 and is a temporary home for single, pregnant women age 18 and older. The Casa Teresa experience is transformational, offering women with no means of support the opportunity to become self-sufficient and independent.
This is such an awesome organization that Baby U R Precious has decided to partner with them and give 10% of each purchase from our online boutique to help support their continued efforts.
Please keep Casa Teresa in your prayers and please visit our online boutique to see our fabulous products!

Summer of 2008 was exciting for the BURP Ministry

Baby U R Precious Gives Back;
We were asked to sew burp cloths for an Argentina PEACE trip from Saddleback Church, Lake Forest, California. Sharon Compton and her team were instrumental in visiting a local Neo Natal Intensive care hospital in Argentina. They were so blessed to be able to pray with the new moms and their precious babies. As they visited with these moms they were worried they would not have enough burp cloths to go around, but with Gods perfect provision he made sure there was one extra for the nurse to give away after they left.
We also were given the opportunity to send a collection of burp cloths to the Texas, Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital in honor of a precious baby they so wonderfully cared for in their Neo Natal Intensive Care unit. Baby Kayelyn was released in good health back into the arms of her loving parents, Mellissa and Nathan, Welcome home baby Kayelyn.
Locally, Mission Hospital in Orange County, California has an exciting new program called Bridges for Newborns. We are honored they are supporting our new endeavor by distributing our burp cloths to new mommy’s in the program.
We have been so blessed to be able to give back to our community and around the world. We hope you will join us in this great adventure of putting a smile on a new moms face!

So many ways to sew a burp cloth!
