Rylynn loves bags! I think I mentioned in an earlier blog that she loves carrying around plastic baggies and tote bags and filling them up...well she took it upon herself to hold 3 of my recycle bags while walking into Costco! She was too cute, holding her arms up so the bags wouldn't fall down. She was the spectacle of Costco - everyone was stopping asking if I had a camera....well of course I had my iPhone :) Anyhoos - enjoy the pictures and video. It was too cute to pass up. Not only does my child LOVE to shop BUT she recycles too and know how important it is to re-use your tote bags!
One of those mornings!
You know when you can't clean your house all week due to either work, kids or errands? And one evening you get the motivation and determination to clean the whole house (well maybe just the downstairs) and you stay up till midnight putting your house back to normal and making it sparkling clean....Well, I had one of those nights last night. And this morning my lovely daughter throws and flicks applesauce all over my walls, is going to pantry pulling out all her favorite boxes of crackers and taking out everything in my junk drawer! This is all within the first 30 min of waking up! I just wanted to go back to bed and have pleasant dreams of my beautiful downstairs...before children! I am a little bit of a clean freak and enjoy having a clean and orderly house....so with a child in my life I have had to simmer down a bit and be more flexible....I will let you know later if that is working for me -HA!
I will be ordering some Shaklee baby items today or tomorrow and will let you know how I like them. I am trying to go organic...cleaning supplies/laundry/vitamins/cleansers....we will see how I like them!
You can always check out the organic laundry detergent and baby items on our NEW website -

3 C's Cute, Creative and Cheap!
Today we went to the Irvine Spectrum and played in the fountain that spurts up water from the ground. It is the OC hang out for sure! Lots of naked kids running in and out of the fountain and moms bring towels, extra clothes and sack lunches and park themselves there all day - talk about cheap entertainment. We have been there 2x this week! Talk about an easy outing - she loves the water and people watching and I get to sun bathe...not a bad deal :) Next time I will do as others do and bring our sack lunch too! Here are some cute pictures...from my fabulous new iPhone..hehee
BURP 1 is sick...again!

Burp 1 - AKA my mom is sick again with a horrendous sore throat and laryngitis. She cannot talk, so phone calls to discuss business just doesn't happen, I get more frustrated in what she is trying to say that I just give up :) But hopefully she will be better SOON, this one woman show (business) isn't working out for me so much. I did however, get my iPhone, so now I am connected 24/7! Like I need to be, but nonetheless, I am in LOVE with my new toy! My husband got one too, and we sat on the couch together last night...in silence as we "played" with our new phones. Talk about funny! So hopefully our lives will continue on like normal with these new "leashes" on our lives. As far as BURP stuff goes, we are trying to match all our brochures and catalogs to our new website and get ready for our 2 expos we have coming up in 2 weeks. Stay tuned for more new product to hit the web soon and for our new Twitter look :)
Here is a picture of one of our BURP models....who moved to TX, BURP misses you guys!
Frozen Lemonade Pie....MMmmmm
I made this for 4th of July and it was a real winner! Even if you don't like lemons you will like this - its more lemonade taste than lemons...if that makes sense :) And with the warm berries on top...oh my ...killer! Try it!
FOR THE CRUST
2 cups graham crackers crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
7 T butter melted
FOR THE FILLING
2 cups heavy cream
1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk, chilled
1 6oz can frozen lemonade concentrate, do not thaw
FOR THE TOPPING
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries/blackberries
2T sugar
1T fresh lemon juice
1. Preheat oven 350
2. Make crust, combine graham crackers, sugar and melted butter. Press firmly on the bottom and up the sides of a 9inch pie plate. Bake for 7 min - cool completely
3.Make filling, in cold bowl whip cream until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, stir together the condensed milk and frozen lemonade. Gently fold the lemonade mixture into the whipped cream. Pour the filling into the crust. FREEZE overnight!
4. Make topping before you serve - toss berries in sugar and lemon juice and heat/stir until combined and bubbly.
5. Pour warm berries on top of frozen pie slice...heaven!
